Red Dead Online Not Working? You NEED to do this on Xbox One and PS4 (Pic: ROCKSTAR)

Red Dead Online launched yesterday for owners of the Ultimate Edition of the game, giving people an early chance to get their hands on the highly anticipated mobile title.

However, the launch was met with some issues, as Xbox One owners were unable to access the Online servers for hours after the game launched, provoking a steady stream of complaints and outrage on social media platforms.

Today, anyone that played the game on the first day it was released will be able to jump into the Online action – but that could potentially create more problems: more players, more margin for error, more load on the servers.

If that is the case, what should you do? Rockstar has announced some official information.

"Rockstar Games want your feedback on the Red Dead Online Beta" the developer tweeted out after the Online went live yesterday. "Check out the dedicated page here and report any issues, or send them suggestions"

You can check out the Red Dead Online Beta feedback page here.

If you're having issues with the game in its Beta state, we can't communicate how important and helpful it is to actually use that form and let Rockstar know your issues. The Beta is designed to test and fix the Online portion of the game and without your feedback, that's never going to happen.

If you keep disconnecting, or if your character keeps drifting into Mexico, Rockstar is never going to know how widespread the problem is if you don't submit feedback.

The form is simple to fill out and provides a space for you to fill in your information. If your game isn't working, without this vital step in the development process, Rockstar won't be able to help you.

So here are the release times based on the day and requirements put forward by Rockstar Games:

  • Tuesday, November 27th (1.30pm UK): All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners. Please note, players who purchased the physical Ultimate Edition must redeem the Ultimate Edition code in the packaging to be eligible.
  • Wednesday, November 28th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.
  • Thursday, November 29th: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.
  • Friday, November 30th: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.
