With the first wave of the February ex-raids coming up very soon Pokémon Go fans have already got a look to lot forward to.
But it seems that the game’s developer Niantic is ready to offer trainers yet another reason to get excited, as dataminers think they’ve uncovered text bundles related to both Deoxys and Castform.
What’s sparked speculation that this is real, is that both Pokémon have multiple forms, and both text bundles supposedly uncovered lists lines of code for all of them.
The code was listed on Reddit over the weekend, though there’s no way to know if indeed it is authentic and if Niantic roll it out anytime soon.
Kyogre is set to depart from Pokémon Go later in February, so that means that there is going to be room for another special Pokémon to pop up.
Deoxys in particular could be deployed as a raid boss.
For anyone not familiar with the rare Pokémon its official Pokédex entry reads: ‘The DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam and resulted in Deoxys.
‘The crystalline organ on this Pokémon’s chest appears to be its brain.’
That said Niantic have yet to make any announcements regarding its plans to upload future Pokémon.
It comes hot on the heels of two exciting developments for trainers, as on top of unleashing a fresh batch of ex-raids so top trainers can try their hand at capturing MewTwo (again), Niantic also introduced new clothing items for avatars over the weekend.
This includes new Fisherman costumes, new Battle Girl outfits and Jogger gear.

‘Proud of your Magikarp-catching skills?’ asked Niantic in a cheeky tweet. ‘With every Fisherman medal you achieve, a familiar Fisherman avatar item will be available for you to purchase in-game. Good luck – and don’t get splashed!’
A follow-up added: ‘Trainers, show off your fighting spirit! New Battle Girl avatar items are available for purchase once you achieve the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Battle Girl medals.
‘Show off how far you’ve walked while playing Pokemon GO with the all-new Jogger avatar items, now available to purchase after earning the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Jogger medals.’
