Pokemon Go have released yet another update revolved around a special new Lunar New Year event.
The event is released to mark the Year Of The Dog, which kicked off on Thursday and will conclude on Saturday February 17.
So what are the perks of the event? More canine type Pokemon will become more common, including Poochyena, Growlithe, Eevee, Snubbull, and Electrike.
As an extra perk, you’ll also receive three times the usual amount of Stardust when you capture one of the above Pokemon – so you’ll be able to power them up quicker.
So ever dreamed of having a Mightyena, Arcanine or Manectric in your collection? Now’s the perfect chance.

Away from the Lunar New Year festivities, Team Rocket outfits have also been made available for purchase in the title.
The costumes however will set you back 950 coins – so spend wisely.
The new event follows the title adding legendary Pokemon Rayquaza to the mix, along with a bunch of gen 3 monsters.
