EXPRESS: Pizza lovers will be able to pay the bill in under a minute
Pizza Express punters with the new app will be able to pop in their table number, view the bill, pay and go in no time.
The PizzaExpress app can also be used to redeem vouchers and split the bill with pals.
Its only just in time it seems, as a recent survey by PizzaExpress find that as a nation of time-poor Brits, 69 percent of us find waiting to pay the bill, the most frustrating part of eating out.

The new app developed with Flyt, originally known as Flypay, will mean you can pay the bill in less time than it takes to eat a Dough Ball.
It is estimated that the pay-at-table app will save each customer over three hours a year, with foodies now able to pay and go in under a minute.
The new app will be available across all 470+ PizzaExpress restaurants.

Late Spring will see the introduction of click and collect functionality that will allow customers to order and collect their pizzas on the go.
The PizzaExpress App will be available on iTunes and Google Play with the free pizza offer running from the 27th March, while customers who have the original PizzaExpress app will just need to update it.
Every customer who downloads the app will also receive a free classic pizza*.
*Terms and conditions: the offer will be for single use only. Must be redeemed within six weeks of the download and can be used all day Monday – Thursday and Sunday. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and will be applied to the app 6 hours after download. The code entitles customers to 1 free Pizza (Classic or Leggera base). Salad and Al Forno dishes are also included in the offer. Cheapest main course knocked off the bill. Unable to pick the Main from Piccolo menu, but little ones are still welcome to enjoy the Piccolo menu while people make the most of this offer.
