Christine McGuinness doesnt just like Paddys new TV role, shes on it like a car bonnet.

The mum-of-three made her excitement clear for her husbands Top Gear announcement on Tuesday when she sprawled herself out on a sparkling white Mercedes, looking seriously sexy.

Fitness fanatic Christine, 30, gave grid girls everywhere a run for their money as she posed for a motor themed modelling shoot, shortly after Paddy was confirmed to take over the BBC One car show.

The road ahead is the most exciting yet, Christine declared, posting the professional shot on Instagram in support of her comedian husband.

Qualifying the post with a little of his signature humour, Christine later added: The car isnt mine, I wouldnt get all my kiddies car seats in there! (But I did ask permission before I sat on it!)

That afternoon, Paddy – who has four-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and two-year-old daughter Felicity with Christine – was pictured with a suitably flashy collection of motors to confirm his latest presenting gig.

Joined by new co-presenter Freddie Flintoff, Paddy will take over from Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc when the show returns in 2019.

Chris Harris completes the second line-up change since the departure of long-serving hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond for Netflix.

Paddy called the opportunity beyond exciting, though Twitter fans seemingly still needed some convincing that another shake-up could save the show.
