Olly Murs has admitted that being in a relationship with him is difficult and fears women may not find him as good-looking as he seems on TV.

The 34-year-old has been determined to find That Girl, but so far hes been unlucky in love – hes even taken to looking for a girlfriend on The Voice.

Whatever tactic works for you, Olly love.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Olly mentioned that his fame sometimes causes women to have preconceived ideas about him.

Dating isnt hard for me, its harder for the girls who meet me, he explained.

They might have already had a preconception of me and I might not be what they expect.

He added: Theyre also entering a world thats quite different, they could get papped and end up in the paper.

They may think that Im not as good-looking as I seem on TV or they might think Im not as nice in real life.

Whereas for me, Im just meeting them for the first time. Maybe thats why Im still single!

Dating a good-looking guy who sings love songs for a living? We can imagine it must be terrible.

Although he was with his last girlfriend Rebecca Thomas for three years, he now reveals that their split was partly down to him being selfish by focusing on his career.

I didnt want to lose what I had, and I didnt want to take my eye off the ball. I think thats what happens when youre an ambitious person and want to have a successful career – you have to be selfish, he admitted.

When I first met her, I was about to start touring across America with One Direction and then I came back and toured with Robbie Williams.

I was always on a plane travelling somewhere, doing something. For her, at the time, it must have been super hard.

However, the Troublemakers learned from his past relationships.

Ill make sure the next person has got priority in my life and is not just part of the journey, he said.

Next time it will be their journey as well as mine – we will be on it together. You learn from experiences.
