It's been a good few months since Sean Murray and the Hello Games team first announced the next big content update for No Man's Sky, but we could finally get some more news on the expansion's release date soon.

Since No Man's Sky's awkward launch back in 2016, the game has gone from strength to strength, with the development studio winning over players with the fantastic No Man's Sky NEXT update which came out last year.

The new update promises once again to reinvigorate the game – this time by introducing No Man's Sky Beyond, and adding VR to the game.

Early adopters of No Mans Sky have been keen to play the title in VR since it launched, and now – thanks to a leak from the Australian classifications board – it looks like we're closer than ever to the most immersive version of NMS.

We first saw the classification for the latest iteration of the exploration game via the “AusVGClassifications” Twitter account.

The listing states:
