Youll very rarely see a picture of Nicole Richies two children on Instagram and thats because she purposely chooses to keep them away from the spotlight.
The 37-year-old is mum to daughter Harlow, 11, and son Sparrow, 10, whom she shares with her long-term love and Good Charlotte star Joel Madden.
And while both Nicole and Joel lead their lives in the public eye, theyre hoping they can keep things more private when it comes to their children.
Neither Joel or Nicole regularly post photos of Harlow and Sparrow on social media and if the odd Instagram snap does come up, its usually a birthday post or a tribute to the other on Mothers Day and Fathers Day.
Speaking to People magazine, Nicole explained that she purposely doesnt want to litter her Instagram with pictures of her kids.

Why? Because theyre just kids being kids.
Theyre busy being kids, Nicole simply said, before joking it takes a village to look after her brood and that Joels brother Benji and his wife Cameron Diaz regularly help her out.
Nicole, who stars in season five of Grace and Frankie, private approach to family is a far cry from her early years in the spotlight, as she was forever in front of the camera alongside Paris Hilton in The Simple Life.
The girls starred on the series for four years between 2003 and 2007 and forever had us in stitches as they ditched their lavish lifestyles and tried to take on the most menial of jobs instead.
