Logan Pauls best friend, fellow internet star Mike Majlak, has reflected on the YouTubers disturbing suicide forest controversy, claiming that it was actually beneficial for him.
Logan, who currently boasts a following of more than 20 million, left the world shocked back in early 2018 when he filmed someone who had died by suicide in Aokigahara, known as Japans suicide forest, and uploaded it to YouTube.
The 24-year-old became public enemy number one before taking a break from social media and later admitting that his actions caused him to be the most hated person on the planet.
Now, his best friend Mike Majlak has claimed it was actually beneficial for him.
Hes worked on a lot of personal growth and hes seen a lot of opportunity for growth in the days post-Tokyo and the days post-controversy, Mike told Metro.co.uk.

I think its apparent. For anybody to say he hasnt made that growth, theyd be lying to themselves.
When asked if he ever felt tempted to distance himself from his friend, the star insisted: There was never I time I felt like that.
He went on to say: I understand the value of growth out of fire and forging yourself out of things that you wish had never happened.
The best people I know on this planet are people who have been through things and have come out forged on the other side and have learned from their mistakes.
Referring specifically to the suicide forest controversy, Mike recalled: When that happened with Logan, me and him were already a couple of years into our friendship, but it just activated me even more, I said, “Now Ive got something that I can really connect to with him.”
From a career standpoint for him, it may have caused quite a speedbump for him but, from a personal standpoint and the growth hes made…Its hard for me to say Im happy it happened but I guess, looking back, Im not unhappy that it happened, he continued.
In a lot of ways, I think that happening was very beneficial for him as a person.
