Loved up Perrie Edwards spent the New Year without boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, because the poor lad had an early start the next morning.

Sharing an image of the pair wrapped in each other’s arms (good god they’re too cute), her with a glass of bubbles while Alex held a flute of orange juice, Perrie paid tribute to her man, although revealed he’d left her to celebrate alone.

But it was all in a good cause – he had a match the next day.

She wrote: ‘Happy new year from us! Mr Professional over here went off to bed ahead of his game tomorrow… the OJ musta been too much! Me however… on the champs celebrating a great year! What a year you were 2017! 2018 I’m ready for ya!’

Little Mix certainly did have a huge year, completing a massive world tour, teaming up with CNCO for Reggaeton Lento, winning a Brit award, touring with Ariana Grande, and a performance at the Summertime Ball – to name a few.

Perrie also had a loved up year with her lad, sharing with fans all manner of couply pics with her beloved.

The two spent Christmas Day together, with her posting a cute but cheesy caption that Santa brought her what she wanted – her bloke. N’aww.

Perrie’s display of affection comes as bandmate Jesy shared her own – sharing an image of her and boyfriend Harry James and calling him ‘my one’.
