Rapper Lil Kim honoured Biggie Smalls at a street naming ceremony for Christopher Notorious B.I.G Wallace Way in the Brooklyn borough of New York.
Lil Kim and Biggie Smalls come as a package when it comes to hip-hop history, not to mention when were talking about the dramas in their famous relationship.
But now, 22 years after his murder, the legendary rapper was celebrated at the long-awaited co-naming of a street for the slain Brooklyn-native musician.
His famous ex was in attendance and also gave a few touching words on Monday.
The Lady Marmalade rapper said: I always knew this day was gonna come.
I used to dream about a street being named after Biggie, because it was only right.
Officials dubbed the corner of St. James Place and Fulton Street, Christopher Wallace Way following a controversial, years-long push by local activists to get the designation.
Biggie, who was shot to death in 1997, famously dated Lil Kim before marrying R&B singer Faith Evans.

In 2017, Kim received a message from beyond the grave during a reading with Hollywood Mediums Tyler Henry
Biggie, who died aged 24, supposedly communicated through the celebrity medium who is popular for having famous people on his show for readings.
Tyler told Kim on the E! show: The man that is popping in, the feeling is life gets cut too short or someone passes away before their time.
And when he comes through, he acknowledges a reference to music, he added. He is having me reference to a dedication, but in a musical sense.
The Lighters Up hitmaker called the reading amazing and admitted that she was, at the time, indeed working on some posthumous music with him.
