Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Update: Operation Apocalypse Z Live Stream Time and PS4 News (Pic: TREYARCH)
The next Call of Duty Black Ops 4 update is coming this week but before Infinity Ward can release anything they'll be holding a livestream to showcase some of what they have in store.
Operation Apocalypse Z Rising is the name of the next major Black Ops 4 update and has been teased for a few weeks leading up to the games release date of Tuesday July 9.
As we mentioned though, there's a livestream later today in which developers will showcase some of the key changes to Blackout, Zombies and multiplayer modes.
The livestream, which you can watch just below, will begin at 11am pacific time, which is 7pm BST for Call of Duty fans in the UK.
An official tweet from the team has explained that the stream will showcase the following:
• New video premieres
• #AlphaOmega gameplay reveal
• MP map walkthroughs
• New MP mode gameplay
• #Blackout map update reveal
• A very special guest visit…
Though we know the update is coming on PS4 on Tuesday July 9 a release time hasn't been delivered.
That said, the majority of Call of Duty updates tend to arrive at around 6pm BST in the afternoon. So that's when you can most likely expect the update and fresh patch notes to arrive.
The developers confirmed last week on Reddit when the update would arrive, telling fans:
“The zombie apocalypse arrives one week from today on PS4 as the undead take over Multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout in Operation Apocalypse Z!
“Well have more intel and surprises to share as we count down to launch, along with more of whats in store for the next chapter of the Zombies Aether story in Alpha Omega.
“Speaking of which… prepare to get your hands on some newly-upgraded hardware courtesy of Broken Arrow.”
At the same time, Treyarch revealed the full poster for the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 DLC map, Alpha Omega.
