Leonardo DiCaprio just gave us all a lesson in sun safety as he took next level measures to avoid burning while playing volleyball with his girlfriend, Camila Morrone.

The couple were joined by Robin Thicke and April Love Geary as they played an intense game of volleyball in Malibu yesterday – but it was Leos headwear that we couldnt take our eyes off.

Volleyball is apparently one of the Titanic stars favourite beach sports, and it looks like hes been burnt before (literally) as he took extra precautions to shield his head and neck from the sun.

While the other players took their chances in bikinis and swimming trunks, Leo made sure to keep his T-shirt on, a cap, sunglasses and an added towel under his hat to cover his neck.

While it kind of reminds us a bit of those kids sun hats with the flaps that come down to their shoulders, you cant fault Leo for taking care to avoid burning.

Thankfully this game seemed to go a bit more smoothly than the last time Leo attempted to play volleyball… and got smashed in the face by the ball. Ouch.

The film is the first time he has starred in a movie alongside fellow fitlord Brad Pitt, though its not the first project the two have on worked together.
