A week after his estranged wife Katie Price checked into a rehab clinic for treatment of PTSD, Kieran Hayler said he hoped her stay was genuine while also mentioning drugs being around the celebrity.
Speaking for the first time about his exs battle, he admitted he hadnt spoken with the mother of his two children since she was admitted over the weekend.
He also denied being the reason behind her diagnosis, after Katies mother Amy hinted her former husbands and social media trolls were catalyst to her problems.
Kieran, 31, said Katie, 40, needs help in order to save her career, everything, as he said: Am I surprised? Im not surprised. Do I think its real? Id like to think so.
But I dont know. I hope its not a press stunt and I hope she is actually getting help and I wish her all the best.

After Katie was caught on video rapping about loving coke, Kieran admitted he saw drugs around Katie, but clarified he never saw them in the home he shared with his wife and Katies children, Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, and the two children she shared with Kieran, Jett, five, and Bunny, four.
The former stripper said drugs were never around for the kids to touch or whatever as he added if Katie had done drugs, thats her own thing.
There were times when drugs were around, he told The Sun. Im not going to talk about actual drugs themselves because I dont think we need to talk about that. Drugs are done very socially in the celebrity world. Put it that way. Thats all Im going to say.
Katies PTSD – which she was allegedly diagnosed with last Wednesday after a consultation at the clinic – is said to be the cause of her latest behaviour and her mum Amy has said that watching Katies struggle has been unbearable as she confirmed her treatment.
Amy, who has terminal lung condition idopathic pulmonary fibrosis, told the Sun: Kate has been her own worst enemy and behaved like an idiot at times but she has been tearing herself apart for years.
The 66-year-old added: I am relieved that Kate has admitted she needs help to cope, to recognise her shortcomings and erratic behaviour, and to learn to love herself — to find the person inside she really is.

Rehab is a commitment she has made to herself, so I hope others allow her the breathing space to do this, and to heal herself.
