Kevin Hart has suffered major injury after his vintage car reportedly careered off the road into a ditch.
The 41-year-old was involved in a shock collision at 1am on Sunday when the car, a Plymouth Barracuda, came off the road on Malibus Mulholland Highway and smashed through a wooden fence, TMZ say.
Police have told the publication that the car belonged to the actor but he was not driving at the time, and there were two other people in the vehicle with him.
Both Kevin and the driver of the vehicle are said to have suffered major back injuries.
According to a witness, Kevin, who has 21-month old son Kenzo with wife Eniko Parrish, was first out of the car and was taken home to get medical attention, before heading to hospital.
Terrifying pictures of the vehicle show that the roof has been completely destroyed, with only the smashed windshield remaining.

The incident came after he posted a picture of the vehicle, a 40th birthday present to himself, on Instagram.
The pic shows the Jumanji actor standing next to the drivers seat and holding a fist in the air.
In the caption he calls himself a Muscle Car Lover and explains that he named his new ride.
Kevin said: I added some more muscle to the family for my 40th….welcome home “Menace”.
The Real Husbands Of Hollywood star is also dad to Heaven, 14 and Hendrix, 11, with ex-wife Torrei Hart.
