Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has opened on the demons that plagued her, as she reacted to the death of Mike Thalassitis.
Now Kerry, who hasnt shied away from speaking about the struggles she faced in the public eye, has shared her own thoughts on the havoc social media can create in young peoples lives.
There have been times in my life where ending it all seemed like the easier option, she said in this weeks OK! magazine. But theres always another way. Its so hard when young people who have just got into this industry cant handle social media and peoples opinions.
On a mission to love herself, though, the Celebs Go Dating star is learning to know her strength and accept her so-called flaws.
Im covered in stretch marks, but thats my kids signatures! she said. Im proud of them and Id never change them.
The 38-year-old previously spoke about her addiction to cocaine, saying she would take so much she would pass out in her darkest days – something shes proud to have left in the past.
The mother-of-four appeared on This Morning last year insisting that she is not a victim as she patted herself on the back for becoming a recovering addict.
Kerry added that shed had her own daughters names tattooed on her wrists to give her a reality check if she ever felt like ending her life, but is now happy that she has confronted her issues and can be pleased her children can see the woman that she is today.
