Jade Thirlwall kept the party going back at home, after celebrating her 26th birthday last night.
The Little Mix star wore a massive, curly weave for the festivies but got home and apparently wanted to lop it off a few (read: several) inches. As you do.
Not wanting to wait til the morning, feeling perhaps that hair was just going to get in the way as she slept, a midnight chop was evidently in order as the singer retreated to her house, got out the scissors and hacked at her barnet.
After celebrating at the Amari Beach Club in her hometown of South Shields on Wednesday evening, the star and her boyfriend Jed Elliot, 27, documented the hair styling session on her Instagram stories.
Admitting she was drunk, she warned punters not to try this at home as she took to her hair with the shears to give herself more of a curly bob.

Although its a wise move for her to add the dont try this at home caveat we have to say she seemed to be pretty in control of those clippers the whole time, as old mate Jed watched on with some food.
As Jade sat in front of a mirror in her pyjamas, Jed manned the camera as he filmed the whole shebang.
Later on she added the caption: Were drunk and Ive decided to cut my weave. Dont try this at home kids.
After giving herself quite the great cut, we have to admit, she wrote on the finished product: Will I regret this when I wake and am sober face before she added: Nah probs not.
Were yet to hear from the star today to inform us on whether or not she did regret the new style, but we kinda like the look on her.
Heres hoping that social media silence isnt because shes rushed to the hairdressers for a pro salvage job.
She sported the hair over the weekend as she threw an idol costume party ahead of her actual birthday yesterday, and chose to embody the ultimate diva – Diana Ross.

Jade donned a curly wig and an extravagant scarlet dress, featuring sequins, frills and an explosion of tulle on the bottom.
Wearing purple eyeshadow and red lipstick, Jade was truly living her best life as she posed before entering members club Patch in London.
And accompanying Ms Ross like a supergroup Supremes were Geri Halliwell and Rihanna – played by Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – unfortunately fellow Mixer Perrie Edwards missed the big bash.
