Iggy Azalea has insisted shes not really mad that Lizzo wants to beat her Billboard record.
Lizzo had called for her followers to back her new track Truth Hurts, so that it could last two more weeks at the number one spot on Billboards Hot 100 chart.
She has currently been sitting at the top for five weeks now and is hot on the heels of surpassing Iggys six-week reign at number one – the longest of any female rapper.
Lizzo rallied her fans together on Twitter, posting: YALL… IF WE KEEP THIS UP FOR 2 MORE WEEKS… TRUTH HURTS COULD BE THE LONGEST FEMALE RAP #1 OF ALL TIME….. RIGHT NOW ITS FANCY CAN WE DO IT?!
She then added a shoutout to Charlie XCX, who features on Iggys track, and said: *Fancy is a BOP and my homie @charli_xcx is genius on it (STREAM CHARLI- HER NEW ALBUM NOW).

Some called Lizzo out for shading Iggy by not including a shoutout to her too – and adding to the drama Iggy then tweeted and deleted a sassy reply.
It reportedly read: I could have SWORN I was the one rapping that song but okay…
Iggy then seemed to start a campaign to get Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabellos track Senorita to number one on the chart instead (its currently at number two), but she insists her tweet have just been a bit of fun.
Although, she did go as far as changing her profile picture to a snap of Shawn and Camila, and added stream Senorita to her profile number.
Iggy tweeted: Lmao nah… listen Im down to be petty in the name of a laugh or two but in all seriousness Im just trolling and laughing at all the funny replies. I promise its not serious; at least not for me.
Insisting she has no beef with Lizzo, Iggy added: Listen. I logged on & saw everyone trying to make a legit negative me vs. Lizzo beef just cuz she shouted out her friend who is on that song.
All I did was try to turn the internets paranoia and drama into a laugh and a bit of harmless fun. Thats it. Can you blame me?
