Prince Harrys wedding may be just days away, but at least one member of his family is less excited for the nuptials to get underway.
The royals third cousin and high-fashion model Lady Amelia Windsor apparently didnt receive an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan Markles wedding, and it has some people very confused.
Lady Amelia, 22, models for high-fashion labels like Dolce & Gabbana and Bottega Veneta, is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeths cousin. Neither Amelia nor her older sister, Lady Marina, were invited.
“They were a little surprised not to be invited, as they were looking forward to going,” a friend of the royal said. “Amelia is creating quite a name for herself with her modeling and Instagram posts. Perhaps Harry just wanted to keep the family invited to a small number, or maybe he didnt want anyone upstaging the bride.”
Whatever the reason may be, its unlikely the couple will get the intimate gathering they might desire. The upcoming wedding is already being called the “wedding of the year” and has been one of the most buzzed about events since the couple announced their engagement.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to marry on Saturday, May 19, at St. Georges Chapel in Windsor Castle, just outside of London.
