Gemma Collins has seen her profile soar since her appearance on Dancing On Ice and it sounds like her new level of fame has her picking up extra security.
Gemma revealed that shes constantly mobbed by adoring fans all wanting to get a slice of The G.C, so shes had to get herself eight bodyguards for protection.
Yep, you havent heard that wrong. Eight bodyguards.
The Sun reports that Gem told her Towie BFF Bobby Norris: I have a bodyguard with me as I get mobbed so often I need someone to keep an eye on me.
She says her crowds of fans keep getting bigger and bigger, adding: I get mobbed with frantic crowds crushing me…. the last time I turned up at a nightclub there was a crowd crush and I needed Sid and seven bouncers to form a protective circle around me.
Gemma, who is dating James Argent after they rekindled their on/off romance recently, has also amped up protection following her ordeal with a stalker outside her home last month, that left her scared and anxious.

The reality star, meanwhile, has been opening up about the pressures that come with appearing on TV and says she think its important to keep it real and not get too carried away with fame.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Gem said: Ive got to be honest with you, to get on in this game youve got to work very hard.
If youve got an opportunity, seize the day and dont just think you can sit at home, do a nightclub appearance and an Instagram post and then youre made for life. You have to really go out there and keep working at it.
Youve just got to remember its a job and try and keep it real because if you start thinking its a lifestyle, and the pressure to keep up with the lifestyle as well.
