Fortnite Quad Launcher 6.1 UPDATE: Epic Games tease new weapon coming to Battle Royale (Pic: EPIC GAMES)
Fortnite's latest in-game message has just gone live and revealed a big new weapon coming to the game very soon – The Quad Launcher.
This devastating looking rocket launcher was leaked some weeks back after data-miners discovered the weapon in the games Battle Royale files, but it's only just making its appearance known in the game.
Here's the weapon description.
“Quickly fire up to 4 rockets to blanket an area with explosive damage.”
We would imagine that the weapon will be made available in the games new Fortnite 6.1 update, expected to drop tomorrow morning.
Especially since it has appeared as a new in-game menu message.

The quad launcher is already part of the games Save the World mode but Battle Royale has yet to experience the thrill of the weapon in PVP combat.
The only question is whether this new weapon will be simply rolled out to the wider game or part of a special LTM.
As mentioned by the @FNBRLeaks Twitter account, this could indicate a return for the High explosives LTM. Although that's up for debate.
Given that we're still awaiting the launch of the Disco Domination LTM which was shown during the Message of the Day teaser a week ago, it's impossible to know what Epic Games are planning.

Based on what's been leaked so far, it's likely that tomorrows update could also include a variety of skins in time for Halloween.
The leaked skins include the Scourge, Plague, Hollowhead and Skull Ranger.
You can see the full list of leaked skins below… but expect to hear more about these as soon as the update drops, which is expected to be tomorrow morning.
