ESL One has announced the Dota 2 Major tournament will return to Birmingham in 2019, after hitting UK shores for the first time this year.
Taking place on May 31 – June 2, 2019 at Arena Birmingham, the tournament will see twelve of the worlds best Dota 2 teams compete for a $300,000 (£229,000) prize pool.
Teams will once again be divided into two groups of six, with a round-robin best-of-two group stage deciding which eight teams will qualify for the main event.
Regional qualifiers for the event will take place across March and April 2019 in Europe, North America, China and South-East Asia.
James Dean, managing director at ESL UK, said: We cant thank everyone enough for making ESL One Birmingham an event to truly remember and ecstatic to be returning with more next year.
Were working on implementing improvements and some additional surprise features based on superb feedback from the community this year.

This years Birmingham tournament became ESLs fastest-selling Dota 2 event ever, with more than 30 million people viewing the event on streaming platforms across five days.
Virtus Pro emerged victorious at the 2018 tournament after beating OpTic Gaming in the final, winning $500,000 (£375,000).
Tickets for ESL One Birmingham 2019 will be available from 2pm GMT on Thursday 15 November here. Prices range from £19 one-day tickets, £44 three-day tickets to £134 premium tickets with added bonuses.
