Eddie is producing the sequel, alongside Kenya Barris, and will be joined by everyone from the original movie, including James Earl Jones (Jaffe Joffer) and Arsenio Hall – who played his best friend Semmi in the original film.

And they have been joined on set by Leslie Jones and Wesley Snipes, who will be starring as General Izzi.
