Demi Lovatos drug dealer has spoken out after the star was rushed to hospital following an overdose, according to US Media reports.

Brandon Johnson had reportedly supplied the singer with after market pills that evening, and claimed Demi knew the risks of taking them.

Speaking to TMZ, he is said to have claimed in relation to the events of that night that the 26-year-old was fine the whole time he was with her.

He reportedly said: Theyre after market pills and theyre much stronger. She [Demi] understood fully and its unfortunate what happened.

But for any one to think there was any misconception on my behalf is absolutely ridiculous. Im not here to hurt any body. I care for her very much, she means a lot to me.

He then went on to claim that she knew they were not pharmaceuticals, before he denied knowing whether or not they were laced with anything.

According to the publication, Johnson acquired the drugs from Mexico where many were allegedly laced with fentanyl.

He then claimed that he left the house between seven and eight in the morning after he had tucked Demi into bed.
