Friends of Courtney Love have spoken about the time Prince Andrew turned up at the rockers house at 1am.
The Hole singer previously alleged the Duke Of York was looking for chicks when he paid a visit to Courtneys house in 2000, going on to share an image of the two of them in her memoir several years later.
Now friends have further shed light on the meeting, alleging Courtney told them she was in bed at 1am when the Prince rang her doorbell alongside a member of his staff.
It was claimed he stood at her door, totally unannounced with a protection officer, having allegedly got her address from a mutual friend who suggested Courtney could show him a good time while he was in the US.
They claimed the senior royal was quite flirtatious as Courtney offered him a cup of tea, served out of a vintage china cup with the Queens face on it before they sat on her couch, according to The Sun.

In the end, the royal only stayed for 45 minutes.
Courtney – who was married to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain until his death in 1994 – allegedly said: Of all the things that have happened in my life, this truly is one of the most surreal things — and that is saying something.
When Courtneys book, Dirty Blonde: The Diaries Of Courtney Love, was released in 2006, it sported a picture of the performer with the Duke, as they held a teapot.
In a 2006 TV interview, Courtney claimed to have met Andrew in Welsh border village Hay-On-Wye, alleging he came looking for chicks.
At the time the story first emerged, his reason for visiting the rocker was deemed by Buckingham Palace as absolute nonsense.
They were then pictured in 2000 at the premiere of the How The Grinch Stole Christmas film in Universal City, California.
