Sorry Coldplay fans, Chris Martin wont be playing the One Love Malibu festival – as he apparently had no idea it was happening.

A flyer for the gig boasts huge names, including Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Robin Thicke and Macy Gray, were taking to the stage at the gig – with all proceeds going to the Malibu Foundation.

However, after the Fix You singer was also down to perform, the band took to Twitter to confirm he had no idea it was happening – and will actually be in South Africa.

This event sounds great but the flyer below is the first weve heard about it. On December 2 Chris will be performing in Johannesburg at the Global Citizen Festival. We wish #onelovemalibu all the best but Chris definitely won't be there. PH pic.twitter.com/GnV13ge3Jx

Alongside a flyer, manager Phil Harvey told their 23.8million followers: This event sounds great but the flyer below is the first weve heard about it.

So, thats that then…

The 41-year-old might not be popping up in Malibu for the gig, but well still be seeing a lot more of him and the rest of the gang – as they prepare to celebrate their 20-year anniversary.

20 years of utter bangers, right?

And, to commemorate the milestone, they have released an epic documentary of their band career so far.

A Head Full Of Dreams – shared on Amazon Prime – includes previously unseen footage of the four-piece, throughout the last two decades.

Taking to Instagram, the Scientist singers shared a brief glimpse of the show, sending fans into complete meltdown.

The new A Head Full Of Dreams documentary film, which throws the doors wide open on the bands colourful 20 year history, is now available to watch on @amazonprimevideo globally (??, youll have it on Nov 30). #AHFODfilm, they captioned the video.

Side note: How young does Chris look?!
