Meeting the parents is a crucial – if daunting – step in any budding relationship.
And its likely made a whole lot scarier when that parent is *the* Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But thats exactly what Chris Pratt was up against this week after being invited out for breakfast with new girlfriend Katherine Schwarzeneggers father.
The 39-year-old Avengers star was snapped enjoying a double date with Katherine, Arnold and his girlfriend Heather Milligan in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday.
The group picked up breakfast at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica before Chris and Katherine headed to church.
Chris, who had his divorce to Anna Faris finalised last month after eight years of marriage, has been dating author Katherine since July.

According to sources, the couple have been inseparable ever since they met and the relationship has the full support from Katherines parents, Arnold and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver.
And Katherine is even said to be on good terms with Chris ex-wife after she and Chris headed out with Anna and her new boyfriend, cinematographer Michael Barrett, for a spot of trick or treating last month.
The group donned their best Halloween outfits and made their way around the houses for Chris and Annas six-year-old son Jack, of whom they both share legal and physical custody.
Two days after Chris breakfast date with Arnold, the actor took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Marvel Comics boss Stan Lee, who passed away on Monday at the age of 95.
The dad-of-one, who plays the role of Star-Lord in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, said he felt honoured to have channelled one of Stans creations.
Thanks for everything Stan Lee! he wrote underneath a smiling image of the pair.
What a life, so well lived. I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created.
