Chris Hemsworth stars as Thor in Avengers, however to his children they cant quite grasp the fact its just a day job and the Aussie actor isnt actually Thor all the time.

Or perhaps he is and we either have an actual Norse God among us, or he is really into the method acting.

Chris wife, Elsa Pataky, shared the sweet lie Chris has told their children – India-Rose, and twins Sasha and Tristan – as she mentioned theyre not old enough to truly understand what their parents do to bring home the bacon and build those massive mansions in Byron Bay.

They dont know who is Thor and who is papa … and he doesnt go [around] with the hammer all the time and things like that, Elsa said recently.

They dont understand what is the TV yet, and you do that for work. Kind of my oldest one is getting it, but sometimes [they ask] “What are you going to be, papa or Thor?” and [he says], “Like both”.

When the family travels all around the world as Chris films his many blockbusters, their brood manages to catch glimpses of their dad in action in posters and on billboards.

When we go everywhere they are like (pointing out) papa, papa, papa … and Im like, “Im there somewhere”, she joked to news.com.au.

And its like do you work mamma? Because you say you go to work all the time and I dont see you anywhere.

Thor is set to make a massive appearance in the upcoming Avengers Endgame flick, as the superhero attempts to save the world in the wake of Thanos Snap.

And we cant ruddy wait.

The trailer for the next instalment and the final before we launch into MCUs fourth phase has smashed all kinds of records.

The preview arrived last week and managed to rack up an amazing 289 million views in 24 hours, as it beat its fellow Avengers movie Infinity War, which held the previous record of 230 million.

Taking to Twitter, Walt Disney proudly announced the news and thanked their fans for being the greatest in the world.

They wrote: To the greatest fans in the world, thank you for being there from the beginning until the endgame and making this the most viewed trailer in history with 289M views in 24 hours!

Avengers: Endgame is in cinemas 26 April, 2019.
