Poor Nadia Essex. She works and she works and she works to get Gemma Collins a new boyfriend, but can GC be tamed? Of course she can’t.
Dating guru Nadia has been working tirelessly to get Gemma a date on the latest series of Celebs Go Dating, but the Towie star has apparently returned to the arms of her jailbird ex Stephen Mortimer as the pair reportedly enjoy a pre-Valentine’s Day getaway.
A source told the Mail Online: ‘Nadia was fuming to see Gemma with her jailbird ex over Valentine’s.
‘Especially when her [Celebs Go Dating] client Laurence bought her flowers and a heart shaped balloon which she posted online, indicating things were going well between them.’
But now it seems that Gemma has reunited with Stephen and rebuked Nadia’s advice – and suffice to say, the 36-year-old dating expert is not best pleased.
‘This is a massive blow!’ the source continued. ‘Gemma promised “a wedding at the end of this [season of Celebs Go Dating] and no-one expected it could be to her ex who she said she hated!’
Well, GC did say she only goes out with gansters and bad boys, so what can you expect!
When her date Ben asked her what her ideal would be, she replied: ‘Gangsters. I’ve always been interested in gangsters and you know… bad boys.’
And also, guys who are ‘financially secure’. Obviously.
Stephen, who Gemma dated in 2015, was released from prison in 2017 after he was convicted of burglary.
The pair originally dated for six months, but their relationship collapsed after Gemma, 36, discovered he’d been seeing someone else behind her back.
The dating series sees Nadia, alongside fellow guru Eden Blackman, attempt to set up a bunch of celebs with their dream partner from their roster of clients.
This year’s series includes Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, Love Island’s Muggy Mike and Brooklyn Beckham’s ex Talia Storm.
