Cheryl has been unlucky in love ever since footballer husband Ashley Cole was found to be cheating during their marriage.
But the man who is blamed for leaking Ashleys many infidelities, new Celebrity Big Brother star Jermaine Pennant, blames Cheryls romantic struggles on the fact that shes still caught up with her ex-husband.
Ashleys former Arsenal teammate Jermaine says the musician was madly in love with Ashley at the time, and hints that she never quite got over it.
Ashley told Fubar Radio listeners on Thursday: I think shes still caught up over Ash.
I think that took a toll on her as a person as well. She was madly in love with Ashley and I think her relationships now after Ash, shes sort of struggled [with].

Cheryl was married to Ashley for four years and she attempted to stand by the footballer when it was alleged that he had cheated, but further reports brought their marriage to an end in 2010.
Her two-year relationship with One Direction star Liam Payne, with whom she shares 17-month old son Bear, very recently came to an end, while her second marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini lasted less than two years.
Jermaine recently wrote in his autobiography that he had lost count of the number of times he shared threesomes with former teammate Ashley and other women.
He callously wrote: The number of times Ashley Cole and I had threesomes!
He lived in Canary Wharf and I forget the girls name now, but we brought her back and she was just up for it.
We were high-fiving each other over her back. We had a little tea break and then went at it again. They just dont care.

Jermaine got dragged into Cheryls marriage breakdown when he was accused of leaking stories to the press, yet he still insists that it was not him.
Explaining how he got dragged into the love triangle, Jermaine told Fubar presenters Lizzie Cundy and Stephen Leng: Obviously Ash told me about it, and a certain someone else, and that friend was very close with Cheryl at the time, closer than I was.

Jermaine entered the Celebrity Big Brother house along with TOWIEs Dan Osborne, Corries Ryan Thomas and Love Islands Gabby Allen on Thursday night to join The Eye Of The Storm series themed on redemption.
