Miranda Cosgrove turns 25 years old today, May 14th.
The child-model-turned-actress is best known for her roles in the hit Nickelodeon series “Drake And Josh” and her featured spinoff “iCarly.” She later went on to voice Margo in Universals hit animation film “Despicable Me,” and its subsequent sequels.
And while Miranda Cosgrove was best known for her roles as a child, she has spent her adult years advocating for philanthropic causes. She often volunteers at childrens hospitals around the country, most notably at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She also helps to raise money and awareness for blood cancer and leukemia.
In 2016, Cosgrove opened up about her struggles with body image and self-love.
“I definitely had moments when I didnt want to go to a pool party because I was like, Oh my gosh, Ill have to wear a bathing suit — just the whole, like, thing of going somewhere and having your body be on display. Its scary,” she told People Magazine. “I was so shy.”
Its pretty hard to tell shes ever struggled with confidence or shyness now though. The actress rarely has a bad moment on the red carpet. Here are some of her best shots.
