Time to bust out the leather pants and hairspray: Bon Jovi has announced their stadium tour is coming to Australia this December.

The This House Is Not For Sale tour will see the legendary rockers playing four dates around the country at the end of the year, kicking off at the MCG in Melbourne on December 1.

They will then travel to Adelaide (December 4) and Brisbane (December 6) before closing in Sydney at ANZ Stadium on December 8.

The tour takes the same name as the bands 13th studio album, which was released in November 2016.

If the set list from shows so far is any indication, it seems Bon Jovi is sticking to a well-tested formula for this tour: new songs to show theyve still got what it takes to make a hit mixed with old classics to please rusted-on fans.

Their show in Montreal, Canada, in May saw them perform some of their biggest hits including You Give Love a Bad Name, Its My Life, Bad Medicine and Livin on a Prayer.

The band has already performed over 60 shows in North and South America as well as Canada since the tour kicked off in February last year, and so far theyve earned rave reviews for their efforts – not to mention well over $80 million in gross revenue.

The tour will mark exactly five years since Bon Jovi last performed in Australia. In December 2013 they came down under with their Because We Can tour, with tickets selling out so quickly that they added extra dates to the leg.

Tickets to the This House Is Not For Sale tour will go on sale in a staggered release on Friday, June 29, with a Telstra pre-sale release kicking off on June 20. Check ticketek.com.au for more details.
