Beyonce fans are scratching their heads in confusion after the singers critically-acclaimed Netflix documentary Homecoming was snubbed at the Creative Arts Emmys 2019.
The Formation singer was nominated in the variety special (pre-recorded) category for the concert film but lost out to James Cordens hit talk show segment Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool.
Homecoming also received nods in five other categories – outstanding costumes for variety, non-fiction or reality programming, outstanding directing for a variety special, outstanding music direction, outstanding production design for a variety special and outstanding writing for a variety special, but lost out in all.
Other shows which beat Homecoming to the win, include RuPauls Drag Race and Springsteen On Broadway.
Tired of the seemingly constant awards snubs, one Beyonce fan tweeted: Homecoming didnt win an Emmy. Lemonade didnt win an Emmy.

Lemonade didnt win AOTY. Whoever is responsible for this repeated burglary of Beyoncé, needs to be caught, reprimanded and taught what art is [sic].
Sharing some words of encouragement for the singer, another BeyHive fan said: Beyoncé not winning any Emmys tonight is a great example of why you have to be confident in who you are and what you produce.
Because waiting on others to validate you have you messed up. We ALL know Homecoming was amazing and so does she. Thats more than enough.
Noting the extent of Beyonces efforts in creating Homecoming, one fan said: but forreal Beyoncé hard working ass prepared for Coachella FOR 8 MONTHS while recovering from almost dying because of her pregnancy and pushed herself so fucking hard for the Emmys to CONSIDER Carpool fucking Karaoke WAS BETTER THAN BEYCHELLA?
