Lisa Armstrong has apparently moved out of the house she shared with Ant McPartlin, following their split and has moved into her friend’s spare room to ‘come to terms’ with her divorce, amid claims she needs a ‘clean break’.
According to the Mirror, the make-up artist is staying with her close pal Clare Buckfield, who once dated Ant’s BFF and co-host Declan Donnelly.
Since their separation, the pair are now throwing themselves into work, with Ant returning to Britain’s Got Talent last week, and Lisa set to travel to Paris to work on an upcoming fashion show.
According to a close friend of Lisa, the 41-year-old wanted her own space to try and be as normal as possible while she entered the next stage of her relationship with Ant.
They told The Mirror: ‘Lisa is a survivor and has been through a lot – and she has no intention of acting any differently now.
‘Some friends invited Lisa to stay and have been cheering her up, they have been a real support.
‘While Lisa is going through so much right now she hasn’t lost her humour, they have been keeping her in good spirits.’
More: Britain's Got Talent
The former pop singer-turn-makeup artist has reportedly been moved off Britain’s Got Talent to avoid any awkward moments with Ant.
It’s been reported she’ll now work on the show’s spin-off, Britain’s Got More Talent, instead.
