Comedian and actress Amy Schumer is pregnant, it has been announced.
The Trainwreck star broke the news on her friend's Instagram account, in a post outlining Schumer's choices for the upcoming midterms.
At the end of a list of candidates for congress and governor, Jessica Yellin's page said: "I'm pregnant-Amy Schumer."
The 37-year-old comic married Chris Fischer, a chef, in February this year.
She is known for her liberal politics, and was recently arrested for protesting ahead of the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court.
Earlier, she had posted a message on her own Instagram page, hinting at her state.
Next to a picture of Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, with her and Mr Fischer's faces superimposed over the royal couple's, she wrote: "About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin insta page.
"Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what's really going on. She agreed to post a lil noise today for me! Follow her and VOTE!!"
