Kevin Bridges apologised for hitting a mental wall on Wednesday night, after hecklers sabotaged his stand-up gig.

The 32-year-old walked off stage around 20 minutes early during his Brand New Tour show at the Brighton Dome, saying hed fucked the gig.

Scottish comedian Kevin promised to refund the 2,000 ticketholders after he reportedly lost confidence in his performance.

Issuing a statement on Twitter, Kevin wrote: My apologies to everyone who came to see me tonight at the Dome.

I have been ill for a few days but I didnt want to cancel the gigs as I felt the Adrenalin of performing could carry me through, as it usually does and did tonight for the majority of the show.

People shouting nonsense throughout the gig is something Im well used to after 15 years in stand up but tonight I hit a wall physically and maybe mentally and Im truly sorry to everyone who I let down by finishing early.

He thanked one fan who reached out to say it was shaping up to be the best stand-up show hed ever seen before it came to an unexpected end.

Explaining how the events unfolded, ticketholder Nick Jenner said: Unfortunately, 25 minutes before the end of his show, a number of ****s continually interrupted the show, screaming out to ruin jokes.

Kevin tried more than once to continue before apologising and saying he would have to call the night there and end the show there due to the relentless badgering.
