Some people apparently want to talk trash because I watch “Riverdale,” and Im not standing for it.

Ive said it many times that I was wrong when I initially trashed this show. I shouldnt have done it and I reacted way too quickly. It was a foolish error on my part. In my defense, the first couple episodes werent outstanding, but the show got good once we started following the murder of a high school student. (RELATED: REMEMBER WHEN I SAID RIVERDALE WAS AWFUL? THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A BAD CALL)

Next thing we knew, “Riverdale” was all about rival factions fighting it out on the streets as more and more people died. Nobody was safe! The black hood was killing people on a casual Wednesday. Do I also need to remind everybody that this show is smoke-show central? (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

Now, weve got one episode left in the second season, and apparently, the people are still chirping because I enjoy the show. They do nothing but complain that my interest in the show has ruined my reputation. That there will be no recovering.

For example, one person said it was “shocking” that I would ever watch CWs hit show. Shocking? What is shocking about it?

Do I not love intrigue, suspense and a few murder mysteries? I believe the answer is yes to all of those. Do I love babes? Again, pretty sure the answer is yes. Last time I checked, Im all about women and the most pro-womens-rights guy on the planet. What part about this is surprising to anybody? Oh, did I mention that the mob is involved? Yeah, seems right up my alley.

Sure, the whole occasional signing stuff gets a bit old, but I can overlook that if it means we get the bloody intrigue.

I love beer, football, women, action flicks and tons of other stuff, including “Riverdale.” I think part of the problem here is that people just dont want to give the show a chance. Shame, shame, shame. I guess Ill just get to enjoy the bloodbath finale tomorrow night, and the rest of you will be missing out.
