Boardwalk Empire star Paz De La Huerta has been hospitalised after allegedly locking herself in a room.
The 34-year-old was taken to hospital on Sunday from an apartment in New York Citys Upper East Side, with a 911 caller reporting that an emotionally disturbed person was in need of help.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources claimed that Paz has locked herself in a bedroom, and wanted medical attention.
Police and medical services responded, and the actress was transferred to a hospital in the area.
Her condition is unknown at this point; Metro.co.uk has contacted a rep for De La Huerta for comment.
Paz is best known for her roles in The Cider House Rules, A Walk To Remember and Enter The Void, as well as her role as Lucy Danziger in the first two series of Boardwalk Empire.

The model and actress last year filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein, alleging that the disgraced producer raped her on two occasions.
Weinstein, who faces five charges for rape and sexual assault unrelated to De La Huertas allegations, denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Paz alleged that Weinstein raped her on two separate occasions in 2010. She came forward to police in 2017; charges have yet to be brought against him in relation to these allegations.
In November 2018, De La Huerta filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior Court, accusing Weinstein of raping her and harassing her in a campaign she claims damaged her career.
