Xbox Series X stock has become available to buy once again in the UK, this time around on the website for supermarket chain ASDA. The Xbox Series X is priced at £449.99 on the ASDA website, with the online store also listing a range of Xbox games that you can pick up for your shiny new console. Popular Xbox Series X games listed on the ASDA site include FIFA 22, the latest entry in EA’s all-conquering footie series.

The latest Xbox restock became available around 6pm UK time today.

The @UKPS5Notify Twitter account was among those that notified Xbox Series X stock hunters about the latest restock.

The account tweeted: “Xbox Series X available at ASDA”.

While Xbox Series X restocks are few and far between, opportunities are still cropping up for those hoping to bag the powerful next-gen console.

Yesterday the official Microsoft Store opened orders once again for the Xbox Series X, however this restock sold out in a matter of minutes.

Elsewhere the Smyths Toys website says its expecting another Xbox Series X console restock at some point this month.

The latest Xbox Series X stock news comes as gamers have been warned that the chip shortages which have affected supplies of both the PS5 and Series X are expected to rumble on into 2022.

This news comes courtesy of AMD CEO Lisa Su who recently said: “We’ve always gone through cycles of ups and downs, where demand has exceeded supply, or vice versa. This time, it’s different. It might take, you know, 18 to 24 months to put on a new plant, and in some cases even longer than that. These investments were started perhaps a year ago”.

Su said that she expects the chip shortage to be resolved by the second half of 2022, but stock levels could be “tight” for the first half of next year.
