Donald Trump has criticised tech giant Amazon via Twitter today, claiming the firm pays "little or no" tax to state and local governments.
"I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the [US presidential] election," he wrote.
"Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state and local governments, use our postal system as their delivery boy (causing tremendous loss to the US), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business."

Trump's comments followed reports by Axios yesterday that the President wants to crack down on the company through federal antitrust laws. The reports sent Amazon's shares tumbling yesterday.
At the US market open, the firm's Nasdaq-listed shares fell 3.19 per cent to $1,385.80.
Amazon, which owns the US newspaper The Washington Post, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
