Super Smash Bros characters LEAK: Upcoming DLC REVEALED for Nintendo Switch brawler (Pic: NINTENDO)
It looks like we know the next few characters we're going to be getting in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch.
Thanks to renowned dataminer jam1garner, we have a pretty decent idea of the next characters we're going to see appearing in the roster in Smash Bros. on Switch.
As far as DLC goes, we've already seen Piranha Plant added as a playable character for anyone that picked up the game at launch, and in a skit at The Game Awards, we saw Joker (the protagonist from Persona 5) announced as a fighter, too.
Beyond that, though, fans have been wondering who else will be coming to the crossover brawler. Thanks to this new datamine, though, it looks like we've got a pretty decent idea.

"Ok so since the secret's out, here's confirmation," tweets Jam1garner. "Params in Ultimate confirm the code names of 2 future characters, "jack" and "brave"."
So far, the codenames for characters have hinted at who they could be. For example, "Packun" refers to Piranha Plant, whose name in Japanese is referred to as "Packun Flower".
Though not confirmed, we're expecting "Jack" to refer to Joker.
Finally, the third character is listed as "Brave". According to MondoMega on ResetEra, a Dragon Quest hero, likely Erdrick (the hero of Dragon Quest III) will be the next character.
This is because "the "Hero" class in Dragon Quest is referred to as 勇者 (Yusha) in Japan, which directly translates to "Brave”".
That means, as previous rumours suggested, there will be a new Square Enix rep coming to Smash, and it'll likely take the form of a Dragon Quest protagonist if the information above checks out.
Of course, we're still waiting for confirmation on any of this from Nintendo – something we can likely look forward to in an upcoming Nintendo Direct (something we're expecting to happen sooner, rather than later).
