Super Seducer 2: 'rapey' banned PS4 video game gets a supposedly more 'inclusive' sequel Richard La Ruinas “rapey” title Super Seducer was pulled from the PlayStation Store in March after complaints it taught fellas how to be “sleazy” to get sex.Critics said the game, which showed women sitting in their underwear as the user grabs them, promoted “toxic behaviours and attitudes”.But Briton La Ruina is now back with a new game.And the dating expert reckons Super Seducer 2 is far more “inclusive” than its controversial predecessor.A spokesman for the game said: “Not only did he want women to be more strongly represented in the sequel, but he also wanted more women both in front of and behind the camera to help shape Super Seducer 2 into an educational yet amusing guide to the dating world for both men and women.” Richards wife, Kate La Ruina, was heavily involved with producing and directing Super Seducer 2. Among the vibrant cast and crew of over 70 women, is actress and stuntwoman Jolie Lennon (Justice League, Wonder Woman) — who is cast as a new protagonist in the game – joined by actress and producer Rachel Warren (Mums List, Past Due).

Told from a womans perspective, the newly added levels shine a light on a side of dating rarely considered.It aims to “show women how they can confidently charm guys they may view as out of their league or who they arent sure how to attract — and offers a look at the hilarious, yet eye-opening consequences of making the wrong moves”. “Super Seducer 2 was such a unique project to be involved in and was an incredible experience,” said actress Rachel. “Being in an interactive medium came with acting challenges which I find truly exciting. Based on the choices in the script, I switched constantly between friendly and angry — with room for a lot of fun improvisation. “I think Super Seducer 2 is a valuable learning tool both for men, to learn what to do and what not to do, and also for women to learn how to deal with rude or overly persistent guys.”Kate added: “We took a lot of the feedback from the original, and Im confident that Super Seducer 2 will be an entertaining game that can also enrich peoples dating lives.”

The game features two dating commentators. Players will receive feedback to their in-game choices from Richard and newcomer Charlotte Jones.Both will offer players context to why certain choices yield specific results when dating, and criticise players who make fools of themselves through inappropriate actions.Despite the controversy surrounding the original Super Seducer, the game went on to be a hit, selling over 80,000 copies on Steam.
