World famous rapper Tekashi69 is in some hot water Tuesday after he was accused of assaulting a police officer who booked him for a traffic violation.
Police reportedly stopped Tekashi69 on Sunday when they noticed he was parked in front of a fire hydrant in the Brookyn, N.Y. area. When they ran his license, they found it had been suspended. So they took him to a Brooklyn precinct, which is when things took a turn for the worse.
“Tekashi was taken in to a Brooklyn precinct to be given a desk appearance ticket, but police soon learned there was an open warrant for his arrest in Texas,” TMZ reports. “Were told thats when they cuffed him and tried taking him into custody … but not before he allegedly got grabby.”
Tekashi69 allegedly grabbed a cops hand and squeezed it so hard that it “caused swelling.” So he was then charged for assaulting an officer and unlicensed vehicle operation. He was later released on $25,000 bail.
I dont know what gender the lieutenant was that Tekashi69 allegedly assaulted, but its not the best look if it was a guy. I know this game. I used to do it with my sibling and cousins as a kid. You squeeze hands until one person says “stop.” Of course, I stopped playing this game at about age 10, but still. Of all the things Tekashi69 has done in his life, this isnt the worst. Now to be fair, this is coming from a guy who calls himself Tekashi69, so we cant expect too much out of him. And assaulting an officer is never, ever okay. But typically, guys who dress like demonic Lucky Charms arent representing the most commendable behavior.
