Imagine, both your mum and your aunt are world class tennis players, and theyre in a match against each other – who do you cheer for?

Well, little Alexis Olympia, daughter of Serena Williams, decided to lend her support to both her mummy and her auntie Venus in the latest match they had against one another.

In an adorable display of support, the little one-year-old sat on her father Alexis Ohanians lap and proceeded to applaud both women as they competed in an exhibition match in Abu Dhabi.

The tiny girl watched the ball being batted back and forth as her mum, 23-time grand slam singles champion battled it out with her champion sister.

In the Instagram video, the sharp-eyed cutie can be seen clapping away as her mum, and then her auntie Venus scored point after point. Her dad uploaded the video, where he can be seen sporting the proudest grin.

He captioned the video: @olympianohanian is such a good sport she clapped for every point – whether it was mama @serenawilliams or auntie @venuswilliams.

People on Instagram swiftly fell in love with Olympia, with one user gushing, Im soooooo done!!! The most preciously adorable thing ever. Shes like Mommie, Auntie…its all good. Its all in the family.

The video was so cute in fact, that people watched it multiple times. I watched this clip so many times cutie pie Olympia you are the best ever, another fan wrote. Same.

This time, it was Venus that took the win in the one-off clash at the World Tennis Championship.

Of the win she said: This is our first match back, so what we wanted was to give it our all. Serena said I was playing well.

Serena added: It was really fun and so good to see everyone come out to support myself and Venus. It was really fun out here.

Serena was able to enjoy herself after an updated tennis rule meant a player returning after pregnancy will be able to use their previous ranking to enter 12 tournaments over a three-year period.

The rule was announced earlier this month and will come into play next season, giving Serena some time to get back into the swing of things.

Of the rule, Serena told BBC Sport: I think its great. Women that are younger can go out there and have kids and not have to worry about it, and not have to wait until the twilight of their years to have children, and i think its a really great rule.

I think having gone through the experience myself really opened my eyes. Would have I done it sooner had there been different rule changes? I dont know.

But now there is an opportunity, people dont have to ask that question.
