S Club 7 star Paul Cattermole has just revealed he was contractually obliged to date Hannah Spearritt and now our entire childhood feels like one big lie.

Paul told The Guardians G2 supplement that their romance did not happen organically and was written into the Hollywood 7 show.
Hollywood 7 was a spin-off of the bands 1999 CBBC show Miami 7 and featured their fellow bandmates Tina Barrett, Rachel Stevens, Jo OMeara, Bradley McIntosh and Jon Lee.
Paul – who quit the band in 2002 – said that because of the storyline, he and Hannah (who recently had a baby) just sort of happened.
When asked if he was forced into the relationship, Paul agreed but added that he quickly grew into the idea.

It didnt feel like that because I had totally grown into the idea, quite quickly. I thought she was great, he admitted.
The pair split up in 2006, but then got back together for a few months later in 2015 before splitting for good.
S Club 7s show Miami 7 was getting around 90million viewers around the world when it was first aired in 1999 – the same year that their first song Bring It All Back topped the UK charts.
