Roxanne Pallett has spoken out for the first time after she thought she was going to lose her life in a horror car crash.
The 36-year-old was airlifted to hospital on Wednesday after fire fighters had to cut her from the wreckage of the crash.
She had lost control of a the Formula 2 stock car and was left unable to talk, and unable to move her legs.
Now, days after the terrifying incident, the former soap star has revealed what was going through her mind moments before she crashed into a wall at 40mph.
Talking to The Mirror, she said: I was flying towards the bend at speed, out of control. I took a deep breath and prayed to God I would make it.
My heart sank, stomach knotted. I remember it in slow motion, knowing I would hit the wall and its the scariest thing… knowing your life is out of your hands.

Before adding: I felt crushing disappointment that this was it, life over. But I was terrified I would never wake up. I asked God to help me hold on because I wasnt ready to go yet.
At the time of the accident, The Sun revealed she had blacked out for 30 seconds at the scene in Hunmanby Raceway near Scarborough.
She was then airlifted by helicopter 41miles to Hull Royal Infirmary.
The former Emmerdale star had a lucky escape however still suffered from concussion, severe bruising and two sprained wrists.
She had been racing her breakfast show co-host Ben Fry in an attempt to promote the Outlaw Gold Top Shootout event.

A source told The Sun Online: She tried to overtake Ben on a bend and was travelling too fast and smashed into the concrete wall on the track.
She lost consciousness for about 30 seconds on impact. Fortunately she was wearing a helmet and race gear.
