It's a frustrating evening for PS4 owners as the PSN PlayStation Network appears to not be working.
The popular service seemed to hit trouble in the last 30 mins with numerous reports of users receiving error messages when trying to access the network
Equally Independent website Down Detector has received thousands of reports that PSN is down across the UK and Europe.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect outages across the world.
And Sony's own Network Status Page is also showing services as being disrupted with all major PSN features currently shown as offline.
“You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience," a message direct from Sony reads.

There's no word on when the issues will be fixed but we'll be sure to update fans as we know more.
To make matters worse for PS4 users, a massive Black Ops 4 update has also just dropped this evening. Not that anyone would be able to play it with PSN being down.
This is a breaking story, stand by for more details.
