PS4 Games Blow: Bad News for Sony fans – this major exclusive may be coming to Xbox One (Pic: DS)

It's good news for Xbox One fans this week, as new rumours are circulating that suggest we may be seeing a game everyone thought would only be on PlayStation consoles come to the Microsoft platform, too.

The PS4 has had the lion's share of the best exclusives this year – from early gems in the lineup like Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 to more recent classics like God of War and Spider-Man, Sony has been running rampant with the hits this gen.

And that's before we get to its end-of-life lineup, too – looking at things like Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us 2 coming soon must be even more intimidating for Microsoft.

Well, at least there's some respite – at least if new rumours are to be believed.

All the evidence seems to point to Square Enix's high profile Final Fantasy project – Final Fantasy VII Remake – releasing on Xbox One, too.

Despite the game only having been shown at dedicated Final Fantasy events and Sony shows in the last few years, we know that Square Enix is keen on sharing its work out amongst all platforms now.

Nier Automata, for example, was a PlayStation exclusive for a few years before migrating to Xbox One and PC later. We saw the same with the likes of World of Final Fantasy Maxima, too – it was a PlayStation exclusive originally, then came to Switch and Xbox One. It's not unfeasible to see the same happen with the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

If that pattern wasn't enough for you, we've also spotted a listing for the game on Xbox One via GameStop Ireland.

The listing was originally seen by the eagle-eyed members of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Reddit page – and it looks like we're going to get even more iRead More – Source
