PS4 Free Games Warning: Download a huge PlayStation exclusive TODAY, but you need PS Plus (Pic: Daily Star)

PS VR is proving time and time again that it's not to be underestimated. With games like Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Tetris Effect found exclusively (the VR versions) on PS VR, it's never been a better time to be a part of this growing community. If you're already an owner, then you know better than anyone that there is plenty of fun to be had.

Well, in the event that you are looking for even the tiniest hint of a reason to dive into a new title on the platform, or if you just want an excuse to finally buy yourself a PS VR, then the boy oh boy is there something for you here.

Firewall Zero Hour, the PS VR multiplayer shooter, is going free to play for this weekend. That's right, between June 28th and June 30th, you'll be able to jump in and get shot at in VR for free. If you've got friends who've been begging you to get it, you can finally try it out for a whole weekend.

That's not all though; for players who already own Firewall Zero Hour, you get the advantage of a Double XP Weekend. This is a great chance to crush all of the new and confused players. Is that a bit mean? Maybe, but it's for the XP.

Never miss a good chance to level up in any game. Maybe show them the ropes first though, they need to stick around if you're going to get the most out of it.

One thing though, you need to have an active PS Plus membership.

Why should you want to play Firewall Zero Hour though, what's so special about it. Well, Adam Orth, the creative strategist at First COntact Entertainment, the developers of the game, had this to say:

"In Firewall Zero Hour, two teams of mercenaries are hired by anonymous contract handlers to either protect or obtain highly sensitive information on a laptop in dangerous and exotic locations around the globe".

Who doesn't love travelling the globe and getting shot at? Not in real life, of course, we're not American, let's keep guns in the digital realm, shall we?

Playing an FPS game in VR is unlike anything else. It's a lot more intense when it feels like you're getting shot at, and it's also a lot more satisfying when you come out on top of a firefight. It makes for a great game, and the fact that this is team based makes it all the more enjoyable if you've got a lot of friends.

Firewall Zero Hour is a bit like Rainbow Six Siege, but with you taking on a much more personal viewpoint of the action. That means you've still got objectives to achieve, so you can still be useful even if you're a terrible shot.

It's also compatible with the VR Aim controller. Although if you don't have one you can still use a normal dualshock 4 controller.

Plus, and I can't stress this enough, it's free this weekend, so there's really no excuse. Well, apart from not having a VR headset. But you work hard, why not treat yourself?
