The PS+ games for November may have been revealed early.
Is it really a new month in gaming if the PlayStation Plus titles don't leak early? It's become something of a trend over the last month or so, and this month is no different.
Thanks to a published page from Sony itself earlier this month, we could have seen the November games line-up a whole month ahead of time.
A page on the official Sony website has revealed what the two PS4 titles for November could be.
The two titles on offer will likely be:
• Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
• Yakuza Kiwami
But are they any good?
We can expect a formal reveal of the titles at 4.30pm on October 31 – and from everything we've seen so far, the information above appears to be correct (though there's always a chance Sony changed its plans, post-leak).
If previous months are anything to go by, the free games will be available to download on Tuesday, November 6.
But are the games listed actually decent titles for November? Well, both are re-releases of games from previous generations – but that doesn't mean they're not quality games.
On Bulletstorm: Full Clip, Forbes notes:
"Ultimately, I recommend the game purely based on its fun factor. Some people may say it's too linear, but in an age of overly large open-world games, a bit of linearity is a breath of fresh air. I love moving from one mission to the next, using creative ways to kill my enemies but not having to worry about exhausting a bunch of checkpoints across a sprawling map."
WCCFTech notes:
"Bulletstorm is back and it is still as ridiculous as you remember. The Skillshot System provides an awesome challenge for FPS players who want something a little different than your typical military shooter."
On Yakuza: Kiwami, IGN Spain noted:
"Yakuza Kiwami is the perfect game for those who never played a Yakuza before. The new graphics and control are a nice way to enter in the life of Kiryu."
And DualShockers gushed:
"Yakuza Kiwami will go down in history as one of the best remakes ever created, for a game that was already great on PS2.
So both games – which have a Metacritic of 75 and 80 respectively! – are definitely worth your time.
This comes after the PS Plus games for October 2018 have been announced by Sony.
"With September winding down its time to say farewell to the scorching summer and a big fat Boo! to autumn," began the new PlayStation Blog post.
"We obviously couldnt let it pass without serving up a little seasonal treat for PlayStation Plus users, so to get you in the mood for a spook-tacular Halloween, were kicking-off October with notorious horror icon and sporting goods aficionado Jason Voorhees"
Here are the games joining PlayStation Plus on 2nd October:
